It was hard to suppress her smile when he seemingly believed her story, and in order to effectively do so she fished into her purse to pull out an extra water bottle - flat this time - and took a sip to give her lips something else to do. Years of being the youngest of four brothers and having a doting father certainly prepared her for spinning false tales. And it was probably just because of that spoiled nature that she still hadn’t gotten over her exaggerations now that she was in her 30s. “Just happy to do my part.”

An eyebrow raised a bit when he offered to buy her a drink, but she certainly was not one who would ever turn down free refreshments. “You don’t need to. But if it’d make you feel better, I’d be happy to accept.” It was false modesty of course, probably only barely masked if it even was at all. As for being charming? He certainly did have some to him - it was honestly nice to see someone who didn’t make it seem that easy as that was the vibe she got from the Quidditch players she saw so often and it was honestly boring at this point for her. Interaction with someone who also seemed sweet was a nice change. Who knew, maybe she’d even feel guilty later for her actions.

The introduction confirmed her suspicions he had not noticed her around the office like she had. She was nearly offended, but decided it would be more fun to just see if after this he did spot her. “Pleasure to meet you, Theo. I’m Rosemary.”
