An emotion more pleasant in food than their current surroundings. She could certainly do with one too…and maybe something for the road. There were definitely different treats than the house elves made for everyone. “Awww you’re no fun, Raj,” the Gryffindor teased her brother. “You used to like giving us piggy back rides.”
“It has been?” Dy’s face fell comically, as thought she had been hopeful of being told epic tales of Raj’s dating life. Then she brightened up. “You’ve got to tell me all about it when it picks up!” Dy wsn’t sure why she was interested in Raj’s love life. Maybe it was because he was her brother. “Even Ary has a better love life than you do,’’ she added thoughtfully, thinking of Bry who clearly was obsessed with their youngest sibling. Ary though? All he was interested in was the Reserve and his Muggle toy vehicles. Dy skipped along to the counter. “Do I ever crash from energy rushes?” Nope! This Hufflepuff was like a resilient Bouncing Bulb!
Rude, Nads! But since Dy was constantly trying to elbow or nudge her twin, the swatting was not exactly a surprise. “I’ll take a few crumpets and two custard tarts then,’’ she confirmed. That’ll be good enough treats for today. “Do you reckon it’s because he’s getting older all the fun’s evaporating out of him?” Dy questioned her twin in a stage whisper. Please don’t take offense Raj; it’s a known fact that this twin liked to tease you. |
