She returned his hug and gave him a second-longer squeeze than normal. When she released him, her eyes were a little watery. "I'm sorry, Blake. You must think I'm crazy, but...it's just...everything. It was just good to see a familiar face," she said. "I mean, I guess I'm okay. We're still alive, after all. I think." That part was still a little questionable at times. "You doing okay?"
At the sound of loud singing, Isla looked over to see...Trent singing? "Wow," she said to Blake, "that's honestly a sight I didn't think I'd ever see." Trent was trying so hard, and Isla had to give him credit for that. She just wasn't in the spirit to sing. Maybe after a good cookie or two?
Blake smiled, it was a good feeling, a hug from a friend ... who just happened to be a girl....
"Alive is a good thing." Blake wondered if there was ever a normal year at Hogwarts .. like did something happen every single year???
"This vanishing act business is getting out of hand. The weather is something." Blake was worried, maybe the wouldn't be allowed outside ever again. How on earth would they get home? Was this weather happening everywhere... And then Blake's thoughts were distracted by the headmaster and his song.
"Dear Merlin, Trent is signing." Blake added in response to Isla.
"Did you want to sign?? Or just get another cookie?" He added as he took the last bite of the one he was currently munching on.
