Okay.... yea, now that Carsyn THOUGHT about it (mostly due to Williamson pointing it out), this definitely wasn't a bright idea at all. She frowned, apologetically, shutting her eyes and opening them again. "It's a mongolian gerbil. I adopted it at a pet fair like a year and a half ago." No use in lying to a creatures professor of all people. She was also going to ignore the bit about Headmaster's approval because there were more pressing matters.

"I'm ... sorry, professor." Because literally what else could she say? She was barely into the term and already she was going to be a disappointment to the new creatures professor. "I can, make it up some time ...maybe? please?"
