Rufus didn't need more treats, to be honest. You know what he needed? A toy. He wanted to bat the kneazle out from under the boy's arm, and so he stood up on his hind legs and made a pounce toward Morgan. A BIG POUNCE, whilst doing a SCREAM to really set his kneazle!toy off.

"AHHHHH!" Morgan let out an embarrassing yell, startled as the wampus pounced at him. He hadn't been expecting quite that! And as he jumped back to avoid getting eaten, Charlie the kneazle jumped out of his arms (probably also to avoid getting eaten) and started to run away, clearly spooked by the larger cat.

"Charlie! Wait!" Morgan yelled after his new ~~pet~~ friend and dropped the leash belonging to Rufus as he started to chase after him. He had just bonded with this kneazle and was still planning on claiming him for his very own, he wasn't about to let him get away now! His Slytherin partner would just have to pick up the slack and hopefully she'd also picked up the leash. But Morgan wasn't looking back to check.
