She took another side-step in case. The only real relief was that they were apparently up-to-date on everything. And while Nina was not one to blindly trust someone’s word, she did trust that Headmaster Trent knew what he was doing in hiring Professor Williamson. And as such, she decided to believe him. As for the cats belonging to her classmates, she’d stay clear.

Eiji's cat looked defective anyway, so. Maybe that was something he ought to figure out on his own. Besides, maybe some one on one time with a furry animal was exactly what Eiji needed. People used support animals for their emotional woes all the time. Perhaps the cat could help with his recent mood.
