Toby was thankful for the mini trek over the grounds to get to this lesson. He walked with that familiar old bounce spring in his step to the extent that he looked as though he was half-walking and half-skipping. Pretty standard, really. The Hufflepuff swung his schoolbag in a wide circle beside him as he flitted along the grounds, happy for the excuse to keep moving.

Eventually, the end of the path was in sight, and Toby spotted Thompson waiting for the class. He immediately stopped the bag-swinging and emerged into the clearing himself, headed straight for a seat on a bench right where the professor was, a huge beaming grin on his face.

"Hi sir!" he said cheerfully, fidgeting around in his seat to get comfortable. "Nice scarf."

Toby had forgone the whole 'winter clothes' thing today; when you moved around as much as he did, it all just became an overheating hindrance. Nah, regular uniform over here, and an eager expression.
