The headboy smiled at the woman, who seemed to be pacing a little. Hmm. She looked a little interesting. Finn coughed, making his presence known before speaking. "Good afternoon..." He smiled at the woman. Well he may as well introduce himself. That would help right. "I'm Finn Carmicheal, headboy." And with a nod, he wandered further into the classroom. "It's very nice to meet you, Finn Carmichael, Head Boy," Cade was delighted by good manners, and it couldn't have been more apparent in the smile that spread across her face. If the Heads were polite, surely the other students fell in line with that behavior. Quote:

"Um hello," he greeted politely, unsure what to call her as he made his way to a desk up front. She waved happily as another strapping young man entered the room. Gryffindor. Good, good. Variety was the spice of life and all that. Quote:

Making her way into the classroom, all ready wish the professor a good day, but, that...wasn't Shaw. Meh? "Good day." she greeted before...eying the cookies. Pffft. Cookies.
Pffft. And a Slytherin young lady. "Good day to you. Don't worry. I won't force baked goods on anyone. If you'd be so kind as to pass the plate around, however, we can satisfy the sweet tooth of those who are hungry." Quote:

But, there were apparently cookies, a Head Boy, and a substitute - so perhaps it would be alright. Neptune curtsied for the lady with a polite, "How do you do?" before taking a seat somewhere in the middle of the room. "Very well, thank you," Cade curtsied back. Very polite. Why was Gaellen always so stressed about their behavior? Hmm?
Men could be so whiny. Quote:

No better way to find out. "Good day... who are you?" Lexi said as she tilted her head to one side and then plopped into a seat near the front of the room. WHO ARE YOUUUUU? Another crazy person.
Nah. She wasn't crazy. Lexi could tell. She was pretty and didn't have that wonky look in her eyes that loonies did. "I'm the teacher. Introductions in a moment, I promise. Otherwise you'll have to hear it over and over and will be quite sick of the sound of my voice before we even begin." Quote:

Peering inside the classroom, she was surprised to find a woman pacing in front of the table. Excitedly, she stepped in hanging the bag on her shoulder again, "Hi Professor." She greeted with a bright smile and walked at a seat in the front row. This lesson should be interesting! ^__^ "I'm not a professor, sadly. You could call me Madame, I suppose, if we're all bent on using titles." And since children probably ought to be asked to use titles, even when they seemed pretentious and silly, Cade would bow to that convention. Quote:

Despite feeling like she was walking around in someone else's body for a good portion of the past month, Kurumi had begun feeling more like herself over the past few days and nothing was a stronger signal to her of this than her desire to bake returning.
Kurumi walked into the classroom and expected to see Shaw standing in the front of the room with his chainsaw in hand ready to carve some caveman like drawing of an animal into the board. Instead, she saw a nervous looking woman that she had never seen before pacing the front of the room. Was she...Shaw's sister? What was she going to make suddenly appear? A flame thrower?
Timidly with the box containing individually wrapped cookies in her hands and her bag hanging off her right shoulder, the third year approached the woman and offered her a small but polite bow.
" H-Hello," she squeaked offering the box of cookies. Unfortunately, it seemed like the woman had already brought cookies with her as well. " I-I-I'm Kurumi Hollingberry. Gryffindor third year and these," she said extending her arms and therefore the box. " ...these are for everyone to share. As was stated on the announcement board." "You brought a snack!" She peeked into the box and cooed over the very charming little snacks. How sweet they were! "That was very generous of you. If you'd pass the box around to share, I'm sure your classmates would appreciate the fruits of your labors. And if anyone else has a snack to share, feel free to pass them around." Quote:

More like... filling in. Subbing for subbing. Something like that." She was talking way too much.
Shut it, Howard.
"Anyway, we can settle in as the last of your classmates arrive. You'll probably want to jot some notes or questions as they occur to you, but I'm afraid I'm not qualified for any practical lessons. I'll try to involve you as much as possible in the discussion, and if you have questions as we go, just shoot up a hand and ask away."
