Anakin could tell the younger student was nervous enough as it was, and he did his best not to let his gaze linger too long, though he had to let his eyes dart back on occassion in the case of her trying to speak more to him. Sometimes, he thought it would just be easier to walk around with a sign declaring his problem, then he wouldn't have to work so hard with new people. But whatever.
Spotting her mouth move, forming words, Anakin turned his gaze once again towards her, deciding it was a normal and alright time to do so, besides. If he didn't he'd completely miss her side of the conversation.
"Your quite welcome." It was weird to think last year, to a certain extent, that had been him. Offering his hand across the table to the girl, Ani nodded.
"Pleasure Jaymie. I'm Anakin. Excited to be starting your first year?"
